Dear CAMYouths, We have a new opportunity for you to do some voluntary work at a children’s home in Tarxien.St. Rita’s home of the Ursuline sisters in Tarxien have offered us the chance to carry out some voluntary work with the children residing in this home. These children are aged between 4 and 16. They need 2 volunteers to help carry out 1 hour craft, games, sport or dance sessions once weekly or once every fortnight over a period of approximately 2 and a half months (till the end of June). We are looking for 2 members from CAMYouths who are ready to take this opportunity in their own hands- to organize and carry out these sessions with the children at the home on a regular basis (that is once weekly/ once every fortnight till the end of June)- depending on the agreement made with the Sister in charge. In addition to this, those who would like to join but cannot commit to go regularly, can also contact me and we will find you a slot suitable to join the 2 regular volunteers for a one-off session.
