Iċ-Ċentru Animazzjoni Missjunarja flimkien ma' l-Istitut ta' Formazzjoni u l-Opri Pontifiċji Missjunarji ser joganiżża Kors Missjoloġiku bil-għan li joffri opportunita' ta' formazzjoni biex jgħin u jferrex l-entużjażmu missjunarju fil-livelli kollha tal-Knisja Kattolika u biex il-parteċipanti jikbru fl-għerf u fl-attitudnijiet essenzjali biex tinbena u ssostni atitudni missjunarja fil-Knisja lokali.

Il-Kors huwa miftuħ għal dawk li jixtiequ jsiru jafu aktar dwar il-missjoni u għal dawk li għandhom xewqa li jagħmlu esperjenza missjunarja barra minn Malta.

Il-Kors jibda fis-27 ta' Novembru 2008. L-applikazzjonijiet, indirizzati liċ-Ċentru Animazzjoni Missjunarja, Dar San Ġużepp, Triq il-Kbira, Sta. Venera - SVR1010, għandhom jaslu sal-Ġimgħa, 21 ta' Novembru 2008.

European Youth Week 2008 - Programme of Activities out now!

Dear friends!

We trust this e-mail finds you well and all in good health as the sun shines while were just round the corner from the muchly expected European Youth Week 2008... with our majestic capital already taking shape for the event.

Invitation: Mission Sunday - 19th October 2008

Dear ĊAMYouths

On Sunday 19th October the Catholic Church celebrates Mission Sunday. What is better than celebrating this day by attending Mass with your community? As CAMYouths we are organising a special animated Mass celebrated by Fr. Karm for this event, followed by midday lunch at Melita, Attard. So, details:

Event: Mission Sunday
Date: 19th October
Time: 10am sharp
Place: Youth Centre, Rabat
Lunch: Melita

As we would have to reserve our place at the restaurant, please book your attendance for this event by Monday 13th October with me on robertfacciol(at)gmail.com or on 79302411. A €5 deposit has to be paid per person for our booking. Payments can be made either with me or with Audrey after Saturday Mass. The booking fee collected will then be deducted from the bill.

Please note that late bookings will not be accepted after Monday 13th October.

Sensiela ta' Laqgħat fuq San Pawl

Għeżież membri taċ-ĊAMYouths,
Qed issirilna stedina min-naħa tal-mssp għal sensiela ta' laqgħat fuq San Pawl. Nistednukom biex ilkoll nieħdu din l-opportunità u nsiru nafu iktar lil din il-personalità li bħalma lkoll tafu, l-kariżma tal-mssp - li bħala ĊAMYouths nħaddnu wkoll - hi mibnija fuq l-ispirtwalità ta' San Pawl.

L-ewwel laqgħa hija nhar it-Tnejn li ġej, 6 ta' Ottubru 2008. Għal iktar informazzjoni aqraw hawn taht.

F’dan iż-żmien meta l-Knisja kollha qiegħda tirrifletti fuq l-Appostlu Missierna, s-Soċjeta Missjunarja ta’ San Pawl tixtieq tistiednek għall-Katekeżi Bibblika fuq l-ittri ta’ San Pawl. Flimkien nidħlu fil-fond tal-qalb missjunarja ta’ Pawlu u s-sigriet tad-dixxipulat tiegħu.

Inħallu l-Appostlu tal-ġnus jsir tieqa fuq Kristu li tiegħu kien u li lilu kien jaqdi. Dawn il-katekeżijiet ħa jsiru minn Fr Martin Cilia mssp u membri tas-Soċjeta Missjunarja ta’ San Pawl ġewwa d-Dar ta’ San Ġuzepp, Santa Venera kull l-ewwel Tnejn tax-xahar fis-7.30pm. Parking fil-grawnd ta’ San Ġuzepp, Santa Venera wara l-pompa tal-petrol.

Change-of-ĊAMYouths-name Process

Dear all,

With reference to the change-of-ĊAMYouths-name process launched during the ĊAMKamp, the following refers.

You may remember that during the Annual General Assembly back in February 2008, it was decided that the name 'ĊAMYouths' should be changed as it is a misnomer and does not reflect the changes and developments that our organisation went through over the past 12 years.

We are therefore launching the following process:

initiating the process for changing the name 'ĊAMYouths' (mid-September 2008)

it is important that the new name reflects ĊAMYouths' vision

submitting suggestions for change of name (end of November 2008)

by the stipulated deadline, every community must submit 2 potential name to the LC, as a result of a process of discernment, with an explanation for each name
following the submission of the potential names, the list of suggested names will be circulated amongst the communities

short-listing of preferred names (mid-January 2009)

by the stipulated deadline, every community must select 2 names from the short-list and submit it to the LC
following the submission of the 2 names by every community, and depending on the outcome of the preferences, the process of final selection will be set and announced by the LC

choice of new name during AGA 2009 ( April 2009)

branding and marketing of new name

We urge the Guides and the community which they accompany, to take this process with utmost responsibility and through a process of sincere discernment, lead the communities to choose a name for our organisation that best reflects its identity as developing in the present but which takes into consideration its future. It is extremely important that we all cooperate and engage in this process that will shape the journey of whom we have become and who we are as an organisation. We all have a chance to participate in this process; so let us all make the best of such great opportunity!
